Smore in oven As a thank you to the staff, my partners and I hosted a “staff meal” consisting of foie gras, champagne, and caviar, following our restaurant Tru’s first 4-star rating. We therefore had no idea how to commemorate the second 4-star review that we received! We chose to take things a step further and indulge in a feast of the greatest bratwurst—a Chicago staple—beer, and s’mores.
For the second lunch, I believe we received even more respect than we did for the first. Serving s’mores by 4-star chefs requires guts! I was reintroduced to the melting, aromatic delights of this childhood favorite by my close friend Karen. Toss together three small ingredients (marshmallow, milk chocolate, and graham crackers) and warm. After adding your personal summer camp stories, serve. Smore in oven recepie is below

- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
- Distribute half of the graham crackers onto a baking sheet. Cover with chunks of chocolate. If using small crackers, cut the marshmallows in half horizontally with kitchen scissors and set half of the marshmallow on top of each graham cracker. Using standard-sized crackers, utilize an entire marshmallow.
- Bake for 3 to 5 minutes, or until the marshmallows are puffy and golden brown. Take out of the oven, then place the remaining graham crackers on top, gently pushing to form a sandwich. As soon as possible, serve warm.
